Gramicci was founded in 1982 by climber, Mike Graham. The company has been innovating and developing technical outdoor clothing since the invention of the 'freedom of movement' climbing trousers that came complete with a crotch gusset and built-in belt. These trousers were designed to handle the challenges of Mike Graham’s local mountain range, the Sierra Nevada.
