Store Manager - Manchester
Yards Store is a premium menswear independent store based in the heart of Manchester City Centre, just off St Anne's Square.
You will be responsible for the recruitment, training and organisation of your team; delivering the highest quality customer service; acquiring a full understanding of the products; working closely with our head office team to ensure the store is stocked to capacity at all times; implementing merchandising guidelines and maintaining impeccable store standards; exceeding your KPI’s including sales targets and maximising the store profitability.
This is a full time position based on 40 hours per week and will include weekend work.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
- Ensure that the store is clean, well-stocked and immaculately merchandised at all times
- Recruit, train, motivate and supervise store staff to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Feedback to and work closely with our head office buying team and warehouse to ensure the product offering is geared towards maximising sales and fulfilling local demand
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Experience in retail management is essential
