What's reduced in the Karhu sale

The Fusion family makes up half of what's in the sale, split across the 2.0, XT and XC. Mestari and Mestari Control come next, then Aria 95, Super Fulcrum and the Ikoni Trail. What isn't reduced sits on the main Karhu trainers page, so if the model you want isn't here it is worth checking there before assuming it has gone.

Sale sizing is whatever is left rather than a full run, and the middle of the range tends to go first. Karhu changes its colourways season to season rather than carrying them forward, so a reduced pair that sells through is unlikely to return in the same colour.

Choosing between the Karhu models in the sale

The first decision is bulk rather than model name. The Mestari is the slimmest thing Karhu makes — a low suede-and-mesh runner on a flat sole, closer to a 1970s track shoe than anything current, with Mestari Control keeping that shape on a reworked upper. The Aria 95 sits between the Mestari and the Fusion in weight, referencing the mid-nineties instead of the seventies. If you want something that sits quietly under a trouser hem, start with those.

The Fusion and Super Fulcrum are the other end of it, with visible height in the midsole and panelled uppers. Within the Fusion group the 2.0 is the everyday version, the XT is broader through the forefoot with heavier overlays, and the XC leans furthest outdoors with deeper tread and a more protective toe. The Ikoni Trail is the only genuine off-road pair in the sale.
