The tartan totes

Barbour's tartans do more work on bags than on almost anything else it makes, because the whole panel is visible rather than a strip of lining. The Telfield comes in Dress Tartan, the lighter yellow-ground check, with a Mini version for a smaller carry. The Birch uses Classic Tartan with leather handles, which lifts it above the canvas totes. Alongside them the Transport Carry All is the plain option — a straightforward navy canvas tote sized for a laptop and a day's things.

Crossbody and everyday carry

The Transport Riever is the crossbody bag, a flap-over satchel shape on a wide webbing strap, here in navy and in Modern Tartan. It takes a phone, wallet, keys and a paperback rather than a laptop.
