Man Wearing Hooded Gramicci Outerwear

Gramicci: The RIGHT Trousers

Started back in 1982 in the shadows of El Capitan in Yosemite, Gramicci was brought to life by a long-haired, progressive thinking climber called Mike Graham. Determined to make a pair of climbing trousers able to handle the demanding terrain of the surrounding (Sierra Nevada) mountains Mike set to work on realising his two-legged dream. Armed with knowledge gained from countless hours of rock-face action, Mike added a gusset to the crotch for extra-flexibility alongside a built-in belt for his ‘G Pant’ and hey presto! The modern-day climbing pant was born!

Gramicci’s ‘freedom of movement’ design is still as popular today and has been adopted by climbing brands the world over. Whilst the game-changing-ly flexible and comfortable G Pant also set the benchmark for the technical products that Grammici have been making ever since. Though Gramicci are still a credible, real deal brand for crag rats and stone masters the world over in recent years they’re well made, functional garments are now highly revered in the world of menswear too. Especially the company’s Japanese division who combine decades of American innovation, experience and industry leadership with technical fabrics and unrivaled Japanese know-how.

Though still renowned for their technical trousers, Gramicci have broadened their range to include sweats, shorts and some amazing outerwear. All of which is constructed from a combination of technical manmade fabrics and breathable but hardwearing natural materials such as linen and cotton twill.
