Caps

Caps are the largest part of this collection, and the differences are in the bill and the fabric. The Ranch Logo ball caps carry the RRL ranch mark on the front in suede, twill and washed denim — the twill version is the plainest and the one most people start with. Trucker caps come with a mesh back: camo, denim with a logo patch, roughout suede in tan and black, and a felt bill version. The Corduroy Bill Oilcloth cap pairs a waxed crown with a cord peak, and the Logo-Patch Felt is wool. The Watch Cap in dark olive is the only knitted piece.

Leather

The leather goods are where RRL's workwear references show most plainly. The Hand Tooled billfold and the Tooled Leather Double Wrap belt are carved by hand in the western tradition, with floral patterning cut into the surface. The Hawkins and Jones belts run plainer in vintage brown and tan, and the Studded Logo belt sits between them. Wallets come as billfolds in tumbled leather, cotton and indigo denim, with a leather card case for anyone who carries less. Leathers are natural rather than coated, so they mark, darken and settle with use.

Bags and the small things

Bags run from the Market Tote in grey canvas and the leather-trim twill tote to the Denim Rucksack, the leather-trim Denim Briefcase, an oilcloth messenger in check print and a nylon canvas utility messenger. Smaller carry covers the travel case, flat pouch and suede-trim denim pouch. Beyond those sit indigo bandanas, braided and key ring fobs, and a handful of pieces for the house — a candle, shot glasses, a mixer set and an area rug.

The pattern is worked into the leather by hand with stamps and cutting tools rather than printed or embossed by machine. It's a western saddlery technique, and it means no two pieces are identical. The tooled belts and billfold wallets here are finished this way.

Most are. The ball caps and trucker caps use an adjustable strap or snap at the back, and the watch cap is knitted to stretch. Where a cap comes in fixed sizes it's stated on the product page.
Leather used with the rough inner surface facing outwards rather than the smooth grain side. It gives a napped, matte finish that scuffs and darkens quickly — deliberately, since the point is that it looks worn in.
RRL uses natural leathers rather than coated ones, so they mark and darken with handling. Wipe dust off with a dry cloth, keep them out of prolonged wet, and use a conditioner once or twice a year on belts and wallets. Suede needs a protector spray before first use.
