Manastash was established in Seattle, the USA in 1993 by Robert Jungmann. His philosophy is to make high-quality outdoor materials out of sustainable materials such as hemp, and recycled fleeces. A passion for the outdoors and a love of the environment being natural bedfellows. Named after the Manastash Highlands which come down from the Cascade Mountain Range, famed for being a hive of outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, and skiing. The company now operates out of Japan though still focusing on Jungmann’s philosophy of making amazing eco-friendly products that don’t harm the planet.
