Armed with an in-depth knowledge of rain-wear, brothers John and Isaac Miller founded Baracuta in the 1930s. Their factory produced rain-wear for brands such as Mackintosh and Burberry. However, they decided it was time to start their own brand. Baracuta started with the short-zipped waterproof which went onto becoming the now-iconic G9. The G9 Harrington is one of few items to achieve genuine iconic status following its popularity among subcultures, rockstars, and Hollywood film stars.
